If you aren't in a huge hurry for it. I would wait until he has a TTV. He has some very nice sets sometimes with utensils and etc. I know the set I have will last the rest of my life Smiley Happy

@bonnielu I notice here that I didn't mention Wolfgang Puck in the type of cookware I was recommending. Sorry for the lack of information.

I've been married almost 40 years and have been through so many sets of cookware! I bought all the cheaper brands and ended up throwing away in a few years because they'd fall apart. I bit the bullet several years ago and invested in two full sets of All Clad. OMG! Your life will change forever! I know I will never purchase another piece of cookware in my lifetime! This cookware is outstanding! Yes, its expensive but I see it as an investment. I threw away and wasted so much money with inferior cookware and I know I will have this always.

I couldn't agree more!  I bought the set that was a TSV several months ago and hoped I would like them since they were not cheap.  I love them and my husband commented that my food looks and tastes better.  It is an investment but in my opinion was worth it for me, I used easy pay which helps a lot.   Good luck in your search!

HSN and Wolfgang Puck I'd look at

can't fry in stainless steel skillet. Everything sticks

I bought a set of Emeril stainless steel cookware many years ago (maybe 10 years) at BB&B and it's still like new.  I like it a lot.

Re: Looking for a Stainless Steel Cookware Set Suggestion for Purchase

I have T-Fal stainless steel set - inside and out - with the copper disc on the bottoms of all of them.

I got tired of having to replace the non stick every few years because no matter how careful I was taking care of them the inside would eventually scratch and the outside, if painted gets cruddy looking no matter how hard I tried to scrub it.
