Thank You!  That's a good thing to know.    I don't even know how old mine is (Kenmore Ultra Wash III), as it was in the house when we bought it 18 years ago.

our dishwasher is a maytag and its 10 years old.

I put my larger pieces on the bottom rack and haven't had any problems.

I wash mine by hand.
