I've bought L&L for a long time. The ones I've gotten in the past year are inferior, I think. I don't usually put mine in the dishwasher and don't cook in the microwave with them, so can't address those issues. I like to use the larger ones for my sugar, flour, rice, etc., and they don't make a mess for storage purposes but the locking tabs just don't always work with the newer ones. I have to use a letter opener sometimes to open, then bang on them to close. They should NOT be like this.

I do put our lock and lock containers in the dishwasher and I microwave allso. Microwave does make the inside of bowls look scrappy after awhile. Lids even newer ones fit fine and lock well. A few of my older ones a lock has broken off. I use to put left over lettuce in a zip loch bag and after a day or two lettuce was not looking fresh.I tried putting it in a lock and lock container. I was like why didn't I try it sooner. Lettuce was good for a week.

I just bought my first set of these and I warmed up soup in one last night. It now has the little pock marks all over the inside the container and on the top of the lid and the lid is warped. I'm really shocked by it. These are no better than the throw away ones.

Sorry Pigletsmom2, I have never had these problems until my last order.  This might be my last order also.

i always put mine in the dishwasher.....lower rack or upper rack.

have not had any issues with them being washed that way.

some are quite old, some are very new.

Always ready, we need more of this since summer was so hot.   Problem, I have many orchids in my pool area that have to come in the house.   It is a lot of work!!!!
