Lock and Lock FYI

Just a bit of info for those who don't know...yes lock and lock guarantees their merchandise, but you have to pay for the shipping. I found this out when one of the lids for the small, round lock and lock containers broke...I called lock and lock and they said it would cost me $3.00 for shipping the new lid. Love the product, but I wish QVC hosts would share this info.

I have read here and on other sites reviews that L&L is basically a throw away item when it fails, because the company is so hard to reach, and the cost of sending in the broken piece, and the wait time for replacement make it so not worth the time, money and effort.

It is a shame it is that hard to get warranted, but you can just buy a new piece for the trouble they put you through. For me, the only pieces that have broken have been my fault, as I dropped them on concrete when they were still frozen, just out of the freezer/
