I saw this L&L collapsible set on Sunday's show.  I wonder how they will hold up after many uses.  Will this be the new thing instead of the nestables?  What do you think?

I like the idea. If I didn’t have so many I would try them.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of collapsible food storage, I do not think it will replace nestables.🥰 There are benefits to each.❤ I love the overall function and look of nestables in my cabinets, but would easily incorporate the collapsibles as well. Win-win!😁 For someone with very limited space, they would be perfect!👍

In theory, these are great, but in practice, I'm guessing they're not going to be worthwhile for most people. They'll probably be helpful to those who have absolutely no storage space, and/or they could be useful for camping or traveling when you need to really conserve space.

My reasoning here is based on my experience with a set of collapsible pizza slice containers that are very similar, with silicone bodies and plastic tab-style lids like LocknLock. We don't use them often, and they work pretty well when we need them, but even though their quality is good overall, they're somewhat floppy and can be difficult to get the lids to attach. They also tend to collapse a bit on their own if they get jostled too much on the way to or within the refrigerator.

That's my two-cents' worth!  Smiley Happy

P.S. If anyone is interested, here's a link to the LocknLock set; because the listing has a misspelling and QVC's search function is terrible, if you search for "collapsible LocknLock" you'll get zero results:

They are a good idea, but since they're less than 3 inches high, you won't be saving too much space.

If they were the taller version, this technology might make sense.  I also don't like the vented lids.  I never heat anything in L&L.  The containers pit.

They are expensive too....not worth it to me.
