Re: Lidia's Polish Stoneware

Thanks, suzy. I sorta feel that way too, but I wish they would confirm country of manufacture.

Just talked to Customer Service. I asked them to tell me WHERE the products were "imported" from. They didn't have that information. Hum......... Wonder if they will tell us when the items are presented live.

Dale, there's no doubt in my mind that this is Polish pottery and that it is imported from Poland. There are several different factories or co-ops there.

I hate that they put imported on everything anymore. I buy temptations and love it, but just put where it's made. It's deceptive IMO.

Isn't Lidia the name of the woman who demonstrates the Reed & Barton flatware? Maybe it's her.

Re: Lidia's Polish Stoneware

QVC has some special pieces, but I get my everyday Boleslawiec from Christmas Tree Shops. They always have it, very inexpensive. Home Goods has it occasionally too.

CERAMIKA ARTYSTYSCZNA is the BEST factory in my opinion. I am so happy to see Lydia has fair prices. PLEASE QVC allow us to zoom in on the bottom of the piece as well, it will show the factory symbol. I will only purchase CERAMIKA ARTYSTYSCZNA. It is important for me to be able to see the GAT 1 sticker as well as the ARTY teapot design on the bottom. Thank you in advance

I was excited to see that Polish Stoneware was being sold on QVC again.  On September 16th at 1 A.M. there is a Polish Stoneware hour scheduled. It does not say who the vendor is.  I plan on watching.

It will be interesting to find out.  They still have some of "Lidia's" in stock.  I'll be heading to New England in a couple of weeks and can't wait to stop in to Zanger.  It is always a treat to stop in, Gloria is such a delight to visit with.  In fact my dear friend purchases me a gift certificate every Christmas and can't wait to call Gloria.

I guess I'll need to spend the next week organizing my cabinets, hutches and shelves to make room for a new haul from Connecticut.
