I wear four gold bracelets (18 kt.) and cook in five LC pots at one time: Lobster, filets, King crab legs and wagu beef. {#emotions_dlg.devil2} Really! With two Dooney bags on my arm and diamond rings and earrings.

I don't know why people have to place some judgment on what people buy or don't buy. There are people who are simply skin flints, (no greater glory in that if you are mean about what others do), spendthrifts, and people who think it is silly to buy this or that because they don't want it, wouldn't use it, or can't afford it.

More and more in recent years it's been like this. People used to be happy when someone could get something and were thrilled with it. It is a SHOPPING board and should be about people having fun shopping rather than raining on someone's parade.

Well Sooner, I am going to hop into my Ferrari and come to your house for all of that yummy food {#emotions_dlg.tt1}

The butler will let you in. The valet will park the car. I'll be the sweaty one in the kitchen with the Dior apron on. LOL!!!!

Seriously, I do LOVE my LC pots. And we cook almost all of our meals, so they do get a workout. The first one was bought in 1992 and is still going strong. Like the professor above, they are special to both of us, and are something we bought and treasured all these years and USE! Most were bought at LC outlets or when they were on the sale table at Williams-Sonoma. The first two were probably the only two I paid retail for and they were small ones.

But DO be sweet to the butler! LOL!!!!!

I always wanted something LeCrueset. I found a 2qt covered Blue casserol for $39.00 at Marshall's. I love it, I think anything cooked in Cast Iron tastes better!!?? And it cleans great. If you have a Marshalls or TJMax check there. I looked over the pot found nothing wrong with it.

This!!!!!!!

My collection is Cobalt, which is discontinued. I find new pieces at the Le Creuset Outlet.

It's worth paying $350 for a pot, but you don't have to.

The Cobalt items I've seen at Marshalls were the 13 quart dutch oven.

Get your flu shot...because I didn't.

I'm firing up the boosters on the space shuttle. I'll be over in 2.5 minutes.

I love my Le Creuset pots as well! They are beautiful, functional and indestructible.

The LC outlets are a great option! One of my LC pieces came from an outlet that I visited when I was out of town (there isn't one near me). When I got home I called them and ordered a piece I wanted at a great discount. They choose a perfect piece for me (I swear, I could not find anything wrong!) and sent it to me right away (free shipping).

Saving money is great but, IMO, quality has to go along with it. I will put quality above price every time and Chinese-made enameled cast iron is very problematic, as has been stated here a hundred times before. This is one of those cases when you DO get what you pay for. Smiley Happy

I love my LeCreuset dutch oven. It cooks so evenly and is so easy to clean. I resisted for a long time, but glad I finally gave in. And, it's not made in China. I avoid cookware made in China -- my choice. Some LeCreuset is made in China -- mostly plates and other tableware. But cookware is still made in France.

My BIL works part-time for a company that sells it and he gets 40% discount. I now have one nice Le Creuset dutch oven and love it!! I wish I could afford more.

Really, I've never bought any LC there but it's nice to know they have the large pots. My biggest LC is the 7 1/4 qt round. But I'd love the 13qt or the Goose Pot.
