I know people love their LC and that's fine (it's their money), but honestly, I believe most of the price is in the name and the status. I don't see how it can perform any better.

I'm not sure there's much difference in them either. I have a Cooks essential's brand one also that is about the same. The only difference I know is the design inside of the lids.

I have a 5q Technique enabled cast iron pot I got from QVC on clearance years ago for around $20 with free shipping. It still works great but looks horrible inside as it is mainly used as a bean pot.
