Re: Le Creuset : Price too high

A couple of days ago Marshall's had at least 30 pieces, greatly discounted, but don't recall the exact prices. Lots of styles. Also another similar product with metal knob on top for much less.

I've never had my white interior LC discolor and I do not treat it nicely.

Re: Le Creuset : Price too high

I was in TJMAxx last week looking for a few pots/pans that I could use on the Nuwave induction cooktop and saw a lot of the Le C cookware. I've never owned any so I didn't make a purchase plus they were way too heavy for me. Oh and the price on the ones that I saw were $59.99. I quess that is a good price for this type of cookware so those of you that are in the market for Le C I'd check out TJMaxx sooner than later since the price is right.

Re: Le Creuset : Price too high

Most of my LC have kind of an ecru color interior and I've never had one iota of discoloration on them. They clean very easily, even if they've been in the oven for hours and look like the inside is kind of burnt looking above the liquid line. It comes right out and they are never discolored.

Re: Le Creuset : Price too high

OK I just called my local TJMaxx to check on the price...I was mistaken the prices are $149.99 and $159.99...sorry for the misinformation but it seems like this is still a really good price. I was told the sizes were 22 and 23 inches (sorry I don't know what that means) and they colors were burnt orange, burgundy and blue, hth

ETA: $149.99 is for a 5.6QT pot with lid

Re: Le Creuset : Price too high

I just compared a few items on ""Sur La Table"" black Friday deals and the main difference is only in shipping. QVC charges shipping on a number of its items and other retailers don't. That generally shaves $10 - $15 off the total price.

You have to make sure you are comparing the EXACT same size.
