Does anyone own or have seen Mauve Pink? Does it have a bluish-periwinkle hint? I'd love that.
How about the newish color Sage from LC's site? It's very close to Sea Salt. Has anyone seen both of these? What's the difference, I'm looking for bluish-green.
I had the 4qt Pumpkin Cocotte in Sea Salt but returned it because it seemed too gray (I do have it in White)
I have the 7qt roaster in Sea Salt and love it; it's not grayish like the Cocotte.
Haven't seen Sage or Mauve in person.

Your post was helpful. I am considering my very first Le Creuset piece, the 8 qt. Dutch Oven in color Sea salt. If I do purchase, I hope it is close to what is shown on the presentations. Are you overall happy with this brand?

I believe 2025 is Le Creuset's 100th Anniversary. I'm assuming they will have specials on QVC and maybe some Today Special Values throughout the year. 😊

-LOVE YOUR NAME❣️
Now is the opportune time to try LC.Go for it!
With Q's great return extension postmarked Jan 31, they're pretty good at allowing returns past that date. Try to get 5 easy pays and free shipping with a sale price.
You'll have plenty of time to thoroughly try it out- is it what you need, too heavy, maybe go smaller or a different shape vessel...measure your burners-will they handle this size, you may need to place it across two burners if you intend to use for stovetop along w/oven.
Cleaning has never been a problem for me. Follow LC's instructions for heating up. I never use high heat, no need. It's good for everything I've cooked.
It's not only for hot foods, it can be used for cold items too. I advise you to watch the video presentations here or anywhere. DVR presentations when your item comes on, LC is great to speak with and has tons of recipes, as does Nate and David on social media.
Plus the members here are fabulous to ask!
My Grandmother had an original LC pot, which she passed to my Mom, and then it was to come to me.
however, during a move, it was lost. That hurt because just knowing my Grandma's and my Mom's hands touched it and the love they put into it for their family....but I have the memories, that's all I need.
So I bought my own and will pass them to my children, though I have bought them their own, they still get mine, my grandchildren, even though they're young, like to prepare in them.
Sometimes, they'll refer to certain pots as 'Witches Cauldrons" because they seem massive and very heavy. But they like them!
Enjoy it!

Yes, that's right! I believe David's visit to France was part of that planning. Hopefully, it will be more than one day, maybe a weekend or week's worth of deals.

@skittles2 Thank you so much! I loved reading your story about your Mother and Grandmother, I bet both were amazing cooks too! You're right, what better time to get one. I am thinking of ordering the TSV in liue of the Dutch Oven. The TSV appears to be very verstile for the price, and probably much less heavy. I hope I would get a lot of use out of it. I love the sea salt color.

I'm not in the market for a pot or a pan but I thought the TSV colors were ghastly. I wouldn't have bought any of them.

DH gave me a set of Cerise as a wedding present.
From then until a few years ago I have bought one other piece - in Cerise!
When I first saw them on QVC I started mixing other colors in. I have one in Sea Salt. I would describe it as aqua with a grey tinge.
I haven't seen Sage in person, but I would guess it is light to light- medium green. ![]()

I think you'll like it, 2 pans for 132 each. This rarely happens for LC items. You can get a glass lid for the braiser, too, or see if you have a lid, any material.
then you won't need to worry about lifting a hot lid off if you don't need it for what you have in the Braiser.
Sea Salt looks great on that item.
Start thinking up Holiday recipes,
Congrats and Enjoy!

Aww, that's lovely you kept up what your DH began.
Yes, to me the Sage looks more green-blue, at least on LC's site.
I love Sea Salt on my roaster, and it wasn't bad on the Pumpkin, though my overhead light wasn't the greatest at the time, so that could've made it too gray for me.
If Q gets it back in stock, I'll try it again with my new lighting.
I'd like another piece in Sea Salt unless Sage looks better. on the LC site, they're very close.
