We miss Laura, she's a hoot! Loved how she sort of put David in his place just by saying his name. Looking forward to her presentation of her cookbook.

I can remember all of the post about not liking the voice of Laura Weathers...Woman WinkLook them up..

Certainly you are correct in sayng that there were complaints about Laura Weathers' voice.  It was a little high, but she was so very knowledgeable that I learned quickly to overlook the sound and appreciate the substace.  The new vendor is also very good in the kitchen, but somehow I don't get the depth of knowledge from her that I did from Laura Weathers.

Would love to find Laura's first cookbook  Can anyone direct me to a site where I can find it?  Thanks in advance.

The first time I heard the new KA lady I thought she and Laura were related.

They sound alike to me !

Amazon, might have it.

Frankly, Mary Beth Roe cookbooks from long, long ago are on there.

I haven't bought them, need to, because her fudge recipe is out of this world and her stuff is more homesy, down to earth.

I need to buy both of Mary Beth's.

I do like Tina V.  She makes her recipes available which is nice.    I have found that she is very accessible on her Facebook page.   I have asked several questions and I always get an answer unlike the Dooney Lady's page.
