LOCK & LOCK - SHIPPING - TOO MUCH

Anyone else feel this way? I would love to order some Lock & Lock but paying 30% to 50% of the cost of the item for shipping and taxes - too much. I can get the Lock & Lock at a local department store and no shipping. A few miles for gas is cheaper than the QVC shipping.
