It is truly sad that Kringles are currently selling on QVC for $42.00 for two when you can buy them at Trader Joe's for $7.99 apiece.

I think you get what you pay for. The kringle I purchased at Trader Joe's, IMHO, was NO WHERE as good as the Racine Kringle I purchased from QVC. It was like comparing Little Debbie's to a high quality bakery item.

Why is it so hard for others to understand that not everyone has a Trader Joe's, or for that matter, any type of high end grocery store near them. Also, how simple this is to buy an unexpected gift delivered to a loved one. Some feel its worth the value.

Qvc price on those kringles is highway robbery. I purchase the same Racine kringles in local grocery stores for a fraction of the qvc price. They are definitely under $10.

Went to TJ today and saw the Almond Kringle for those interested.

I thought Trader Joe's Kringle was made in Racine!?!?!?

I recently purchased a Kringle at a grocery (not TJ's) and it was $6.00 for 28 oz. It too was made in Racine.

What is truly sad is deciding how others spend their own money and judging them because you do not approve of their purchases.

No one is required to buy food here. If you have access to and enjoy TJ's, great!, but not everyone can or wants to purchase from there.

I love the Almond Kringle from Trader Joes, with a cup of coffee. I just bought three, two for the freezer for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and one for now.

I think this is an item that is not available everywhere.

However, Racine Kringle $3.99 at my grocery store this week.

I don't think anyone was belittling the choice or ability of some to purchase here or locally; i think the issue the OP had is the price that the Q decides to sell the kringles.

If you choose to purchase it and you don't mind paying that amount, then it really doesn't matter what anyone thinks, no?

It is a rather inflated price, though, in my opinion. I would imagine if anyone saw that price at a local store for the same item, people would have the same reaction, either way.
