I think I am going to wait until they bring the bowl with the handle.  It's available at Williams Sonoma (also indifferent colors) and Amazon; theirs are more expensive though..  I think that would be easier to work with.

P.S.  the ones at these two sites have one that comes with the flex beater for extra $s.

I didn't want to wait till Q got around to bringing the mini's in 6 months later, so, I went ahead and bought mine at B&B. Couldn't find that flex edge any place, so, finally ordered from Williams Sonoma. For some reason it didn't work even though I bought my model # correct size. It drug the bowl and I wasn't gonna adjust that screw gizmo and get it out of alignment for the other main beater, so, I sit down and wrote KAid a email and told them their flex edge wasn't worth *****.  They sent me a new one and this one did great!

Don't know what was wrong with the one i paid for online, but, the 1 directly from KA didn't drag the bowl and didn't make any noise. One thing I like about the mini is it's quiet motor.. Lot I like about it, but, the quietness is the best thing.
