Whoever saw the presentation today with the Kitchenaid Hand Mixer, Tina made a cheesecake recipe with fruits that she mixed in a lock and lock bowl. Was that a dip or was that just a filling. She just mixed it all and then put the lid on it. It looked interesting but they never finished it. I am not on Facebook so can't look there. Thanks.

Re: Kitchenaid recipe question

I missed some of it, too but I think I heard her call it a cheese cake salad.  She was vague but seemed to add some dry pudding mix to "stabalize" whipped cream and added fresh fruit and marshmallows.  I didn't catch the amount of cream cheese, or if she even added any.

It's hard to figure out when coming into the middle of it!

@Elom

Just wanted to say thank you!

Your topic reminded me to put my glasses on.  I read "Katchup recipe question."  Smiley LOL

Re: Kitchenaid recipe question

I like the idea of a cheesecake salad. With blueberries and strawberries would make a great treat.

Now katchup with cream cheese would be not so good.

Re: Kitchenaid recipe question

@Elom

I checked Tina's facebook account, the cheesecake salad was from the website, South Your Mouth by Mandy Rivers, seems like she has been on the Q with her book. It is called a Red, White and Blue Cheesecake Salad.

The only difference I saw was Mandy's receipe called for cool whip and Tina used whipping cream with pudding.

Hope that helps.

Re: Kitchenaid recipe question

Thank you all. I will check out the link Ique. It seemed interesting. Tina makes some interesting recipes and a lot use fresh ingredients. It would be nice to have the ingredients in little glass bowls though!!
