KitchenAid Torrent Magnetic Blender

I saw a demonstration on this at my local store.  I was really impressed.  I purchased the Candy Apple Red.  I was skeptical but after using this for the past two weeks, I'm addicted to it!  I really like the ease of use and the soups and smoothies I'm creating.  I had a Vitamix but I never liked using a tamper so I sold it to my hairdresser.  I have a single cup Ninja which is fine for Smoothies but doesn't do soup.  I'm excited about this purchase!

This is the first I've heard of this item. I was at Williams -Sonoma on Saturday and saw a new type of bowl that heats up for the stand mixers. Was a hefty  $249 and would be used for tempering chocolate. I kind of laughed as my KA mixer is the most basic model and I spent under $160 for it at Target 15 years ago. Glad you like your new blender. I just bought a new Vitamix that rocks my world!!!
