I was so excited to get my new KitchenAid mixer and opened it up today. One of the main reasons I bought this particular mixer was the new mixing blade with the silicon on it to scrape the bowl as it is mixing the ingredients. Unfortunatley, mine arrived without the new blade. I called customer service and they said they'd send me one, which should arrive in seven days or so. They also informed me that the rebate form to get the free grinder had not been placed in boxes prior to shipment, so that would also arrive separately. I commented that they were probably getting lots of calls on that and she said that they were. I wonder how many people will totally forget about it. I hadn't even checked for that before I called about the mixing blade.
Did anybody else receive a mixer missing parts?
