Kitchen "obsessions" (for fun)

Anyone else have any weird kitchen obsessions?? Like all same brand of gadgets, or all same appliance colors. I am OCD about the inside if cabinets & drawers,lol... I don't like the sides of anything touching, they can be stacked (neatly of course), but not against anything else. Things in drawers have to be separated also. I know, it's odd but I can't help it!! Might be caused by my moms drawers always having everything just dumped in. Nothing matched.

Theme kitchens?? Mine is watermelon..all red gadgets & small appliances.

I have a ton of bowls/storage containers & small appliances! I do not apologize. But.. I will only own up to it here. LOL and I still can't stop looking & buying. I'm getting better.

I have a raised counter top that I like to keep clear. My husband likes to lay his ""stuff"" there so he can see it. I am constantly moving it off the counter.

Here's my obsession - I HATE CLUTTER, but I have a cluttered kitchen. I keep it as neat and organized as possible, but there are three adults living here in a small space and I love to cook, so it's cluttered. It bothers me every single day.

Also, I keep everything in air tight containers. We had an ant infestation years ago and I never got over it. I bought boxes of those heavy duty binder clips from the office supply store and everything is either in Tupperware or Lock-n-Lock or tightly sealed in plastic with a binder clip.

I'm pretty much just obsessed with all things "kitchen". I can spend hours all by myself shopping for one or two items. It's my "happy place"... Smile
