@PamelaSue72 I do wipe my counters every week & as needed, just don't want any extra work at this stage..Costco antibacterial wipes work for me! My friend has several stains/spots on her granite & she plans replace with quartz soon.

buckeye--sounds exciting and very theraputic!! However--I have the laminate counter tops  and HATE them----Can't put hot things on them, stain easily and pit too. I have been going thru my cabinates and purging alot of stuff I forgot I had----need an update for my kitchen too. Now--where did I plant that money tree again?????? Smiley Very Happy

A kitchen purge is a great idea.  I might try that this summer.  I know I have items I don't us taking up valuable space.  My pantry gets purged in small increments during the year but now it is stuffed with items and I just want to use as much up as possible.   I just bought a juicer and have no place for it.

Doing the same, buckeye mom!  I'm also looking at laminate!  The renovation is trying to talk me into stone, but I'm really not interested.  Granite and quartz have come way down in price though.  Keep us updated, and take before pics!  I redid a bath, and forgot to take before pics.  Wish I would have, seems more satisfying to look at the accomplishments.

tomorrow starts my COMPLETE kitchen purge, starting with cake mixes, baking supplies, etc! We cook VERY simply now & seems we mostly use our microwave & convection oven.. We plan on a kitchen remodel this year & I do plan on emptying out every cabinet & drawer! Keeping our white cabinets, but will have new countertops & all appliances! We don't have a budget, but am liking the looks of Wilsonart laminate counters, no desire to have to seal, wax, or anything else! Looking forward to a nice, new, low maintenance kitchen! Remodeled for us & not for resale!

@Nataliesgramma Is there any way you can repurpose the tureens? I know some of them can be so beautiful, maybe use them as planters, real or fake.
