The cabinets are ordered, the granite has been selected, and I am getting ready to order the hardware too. Now, my big dilema is whether to install a pot filler above my range. What do you think? It is not a huge issue to have the water line run because Nephew is a plumber and there is a water line accessible downstairs and about a foot from the wall the range sits on. We are also likely to have to open the drywall up there anyway during demo because we have a stainless steel panel for the back splash there right now that is likely going to destroy the drywall when we remove it. I know they are the latest thing, but someone has starting me wondering about the danger of spills, overflows, etc. I also started wondering about whether they drip and my concern that those drips will be on my range. I have been told by my nephew to make sure I get one with two valve controls, which is what I picked, but I am just not sure about it and how much I will use it. I also know this is my one and only chance to do it because the back splash will then be a mosaic and I am not redoing it later. So again, what do you think? I would appreciate hearing from any of you who have one or decided not to put one in and what you think of having it or not having it. Regrets? Pros vs. Cons? TIA.
