Call me petty, but it burns me up, when someone makes a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich and leaves bits of peanut butter in the jelly jar, because they used the same knife, and didn't wipe it off. Smiley Sad

This is why I ALWAYS use a spoon for the jelly and I'm the only one who eats PB&J. I love them together but only on my bread!

Re: Kitchen Pet Peeves?

[ Edited ]

I have an odd pet peeve.

Bread in plastic bags.  As the bread is used, the plastic end becomes longer.

I dislike the longer plastic end, so I cut it, eliminating my peeve..

@LadybugDG , Same, it's so unnecessary.

DH drinks directly from the milk container. It's just the two of us, but it still bothers me.

He also will pour something in a glass, or use a fork, knife, or spoon, then rinse it in plain water and put it away. Drives me crazy! I've asked him to leave it in the sink to wash, and get, "Why? It's not that dirty."  Smiley Frustrated

Breadcrumbs in the butter dish, my husband is guilty of this, I don't say anything to him about it, it's my pet peeve.
