I just received the King Arthur catalog and so tempted to buy the mini scone pan. Do they ever have discounts or sales? Of course I saw several mixes etc that I probably would order at the same time. The clotted cream and Devonshire looked interesting.

Yes, they do. I am an ardent King Arthur fan. They just finished a sale for a percentage off some of their products (but I don't remember what that percentage was right off-hand, might have been 40% for some of their products). Often they will have free shipping. Get on their email list and they wll send, not only recipes and such, but they'll let you know when their sales are going to take place.

Sometimes you'll get an email to complete a survey and then they'll email you a ten-dollar coupon for anything on the site or in the catalog.

My kids always give me gift certs to King Arthur for part of my Christmas present and for my birthday. I always wait for free shipping, but I think you need a $49 order to take advantage. It's not hard to spend $49.

I  love the King Arthur catalog and have purchased from them for many years.  Often after you order from them and join their email subscription they send free shipping and discount offers.

Have you ever tried the scone mixes?. I am on the email list and have saved some  of the recipes. Baking has always been a passion of mine and I wish I would have known of all the products they have. I don't bake as much and am selective now and that is why with the mini scones I can freeze and perfect in portion. Thank you.

I love King Arthur products.    Their pancake mix is the best.    It's the only one I will use.

As another poster has said, if you join their email service you often times get advanced sales notices and free shipping offers.

We get the catalog also. I think it is the best food porn for a cook or baker there is! haha! We always, always have their parchment papers in our pantry.  Couldn't do without them. Another thing we always buy are their different flours. We bake a lot! Breads, pies, cookies, crackers, you name it. KA flour is in them.  We travel at least once a year in the Fall to their store in Vermont. Awesome store. Cooking demos, free samples, sale prices, and the beautiful foliage to boot!

Oh wow! So do we! Every fall we head from central PA to Vermont so that we can buy all kinds of stuff there. Baking pans, ingredients, cookie cutters. Most of the time their regular AP flour is two for $6, which is quite a bit cheaper than what I can buy it in our local grocery stores. When we were up in 2015, I bought 16 bags of flour, brought it home and stuck it in the freezer. It lasted a few months for me. Last year, I found it around here on sale for $2 per 5-pound bag and I bought 20 bags; that will see me through for a few months yet.

We usually go up and DH and I will take a baking class while we're there, too. We've taken the pizza classes and some of the bread-baking classes. I'd really love to go there when Peter Reinhart (Bread Baker's Apprentice, American Pie, etc.) teaches a class and I understand that he's going to be there again this coming fall....it might be in October, but I'm not sure.

You know, I haven't tried their mixes for scones or cookies or anything. I would assume they would be quite good though; I mean, everything I've gotten from King Arthur is outstanding. Truly.

Oh, and BTW, I just got an email from KA that the free 2-year subscription to Allrecipes is still valid with a $49 order.

I have the scone pan and have made scones from their mix.  Very good--even DH liked them, and he generally doesn't care for something new like scones as he is a real bread eater.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!
