Now those of who have tummy trouble with Fiber One bars should stay away from these as these also contain chicory root fiber, which some people have a problem tolerating.

I do not understand where QVC thinks this is a good deal. These work out to $1.42 a bar. I can get them locally for $1.25 a bar and I can get the flavors I like, not what I'm stuck with in this type of package.
I agree that you do have to watch which flavors you buy because some of them are very high in sugar. I too will eat the ones that are only 4 grams of sugar but when I do eat them, I eat them with my cup of coffee for breakfast, not as a snack bar.
I cannot eat Fiber One products at all because they cause me major, major stomach issues but I've never had a problem with a Kind Bar.

Good to know. It's probably the amount of chicory root in them (or the quality ;o)
So many people in my WW meeting rely heavily on Fiber One products and many can't tolerate them.

Kind has been making the smaller (0.8 oz) bars for years. Slightly larger than half the size of the standard 1.4 oz bars. They're called 'Mini' bars. While I mostly use the large ones and cut in half, I do order the small ones from Amazon to take when traveling.

I do agree with many of you...the Q price is disappointing. I buy them locally or online for around a dollar per bar.
Also, I want to add about whether they are healthy or not...this is how I view & choose to eat these:
1. If it looks like a candy bar, treat it like a candy bar. Eat these as your "treat" instead of that candy bar, cookies, brownies, cake, etc.
2. Choose the lowest sugar ones possible (like many of you I only eat the low sugar ones--4g/sugar per bar). The regular flavors have WAY more sugar than I would want to eat. I'm sure they're good...but I'm no longer at the age where I can eat whatever I want & not gain weight--those days are long gone!
3. Remember, everything in moderation & you'll be fine. It doesn't matter if you're on WW or some other diet plan, don't eat these like they are health food...again, they are a treat.
Many times I'll open one up & just break off a piece or eat half of it. I eat it slowly & enjoy the flavors. It satisfies that need for something sweet & at least has some nutritional value vs. most sweet treats.

I totally agree with you bunnypink but the problem is, the hosts and vendors treat these like they are a health food.

Yes, but their job is to sell as many as possible so I do understand their strategy. Most people want to believe that these are health food & they can gobble them up-ha! We just have to be smart consumers ![]()

IMO yes but I detest Kashi bars so I might not be the best judge. LOL
