There are a lot of nuts in Kind Bars, so they do have fat calories...but these are the healthy types of fats that fill us up and satisfy our appetites.

I buy them at Trader Joe's for less $$$...but my store has a limited selection, so I'm happy to pay a few cents more and get these other flavors.

Snickers bars have nuts too

Snickers bars also have 27 grams of sugar and only 1 gram of fiber.

Snickers bars also contain artificial flavoring and high fructose corn syrup, things I'm trying to avoid.

If I was very hungry, and a Snickers bar was nearby...I'd sure eat it! But I'd rather have healthier options at hand. I usually have a Kind bar in my glove box, so I'm if delayed getting home, I won't be tempted to stop somewhere and get something that isn't so good.

While you can usually find them cheaper, in QVC's defense, they're two cents cheaper than what Trader Joe's sells them for. The TSV is around $1.43 per bar and my Trader Joe's sells them for $1.45 per bar and TJ's doesn't have very many flavors.

That was the point I made earlier. If I deduct what I'll get back from using Mrrebates, I actually get a much better price from QVC.

(and we don't have the other stores in our area, that some posters mentioned)

I was going to ask this very question - can you find all of these flavors out in the marketplace? I like the variety that Q offers. I've been on the fence about trying these, and decided to go for it this time. They're actually for my husband, who normally skips lunch. He could use something like this to tide him over until dinner.

It's nice to hear from the poster RE: the diabetic info - thank you for that!

Thanks for the info about buying them elsewhere. Never tried them but I won't be buying the TSV today.

I usually have them on hand. But I purchase mine at Amazon. The price is a great deal better than what QVC sells them for, plus if you go on auto-delivery you save an additional 15%.

I would agree with most that they are not THE most healthy choice. Of course there are worse choices. These have around 12 grams of sugar which is too much sugar for some people, I'm certain. Only about 12 grams of fat so, since fat is a lot less bad than sugar anyway, that isn't bad at all.

The fact that they contain soy is the most concerning to me. But it is listed way down at the end of the ingredient list so, hopefully, I'm not getting too much.

I really like Kind bars, but I'm not interested in the TSV. I am very particular about the flavors I like (apricot and the coconut, specifically). If the TSV had more flavors I enjoy, it's a pretty good buy. I order from Amazon usually.

My husband and I really like these when travelling. I can get them at my grocery store regularly for $1 each and lots of different flavors. They are supposed to be more but nearly every week they have a ""sale"" sticker for $1. I don't know how QVC can call this a TSV!
