hulagirl--I think it depends upon what you like...and which Kashi ones are you eating now? You'd have to compare the nutritional facts on each box (Kashi bars you're currently eating vs. specific Kind bar flavor you'd like to try).
I've tried many of the Kashi bars & many Kashi bars are lower in calories than Kind. But, you may find that if you get the low sugar Kind bars they are lower in sugar than the Kashi ones you're eating.
You can look on both of the company website's nutritional info to compare.
Also, Kind bars are more "crunchy" if that makes sense. You're eating whole nuts vs. ground or chopped nuts.

If I recall--I think the price is the same whether it is a TSV or not.

We recommend Kind bars to our diabetic patients. Suggest that they either order the 'mini' ones or cut regular ones in half to use as one of their balanced snacks. Kind sends us the mini ones to give out at class. Two of the Mini version (Almond Coconut & Cranberry Almond) have NO peanuts.
Kind bars are gluten free, Kosher, have no GMOs, no artificial sweeteners, no agave. They're a fairly well balanced (as are 11 peanut M&Ms) snack for diabetics. Because they have honey, they're NOT vegan.
You can also make your own version that's equally healthy, and even vegan (substituting brown rice syrup for the honey). You can buy most of the ingredients at any grocery store, some at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. They cost less than $.50 each to make.
Most Kind bars contain mixed nuts WITH peanuts. The following nine have NO peanuts: Almond & Coconut, Cranberry Almond, Blueberry Vanilla & Cashew, Pomegranate Blueberry Pistachio, Almond & Apricot, Blueberry Pecan, Apple Cinnamon & Pecan, Almond Cashew, Almonds & Apricot in Yogurt. (Have a several great grands that had/have peanut allergies; two have been treated over the past year, and can now eat peanuts or peanut products in moderation; one more to go).
Most all Kind bars have some kind of tree nuts, drupes or legumes in them. If you have a 'nut' problem, it helps if you know precisely what your actually is. Hazelnuts & chestnuts are nuts. Walnuts, almonds, coconuts, cashews, pistachios & pecans aren't nuts at all. Like peaches, plums and apricots, they're 'drupes'. If you do have some kind of nut allergy, sesame seeds can also be an issue.

While you can usually find them cheaper, in QVC's defense, they're two cents cheaper than what Trader Joe's sells them for. The TSV is around $1.43 per bar and my Trader Joe's sells them for $1.45 per bar and TJ's doesn't have very many flavors.

Kind has been making the smaller (0.8 oz) bars for years. Slightly larger than half the size of the standard 1.4 oz bars. They're called 'Mini' bars. While I mostly use the large ones and cut in half, I do order the small ones from Amazon to take when traveling.
Thanks. I've never seen them anywhere where these are sold and I get around, locally and the country. I'll see if I can fidn them online.

I agree that there are much healthier snacks out there. I tried them last year as my DH is a long-distance runner and sometimes eat these. Personally, I was not impressed and would not buy again. He can buy the occasional protein bar when he wants them--we certainly don't need a bunch sitting in the cupboard.
