Keurig Vue only dispencing 2oz.

I just got my Keurig tonight and I was never happier to see the UPS lady. So i just set it up and went through all the instructions. Soak the filter for 5 mins, rinse the filter, place it in the water dispenser. turn on the machine and wait about 4 mins till it's pre heats. press the brew button.......2 oz, and yes it's set on 8. It's new..fresh out the box and it's already not working Smiley Sad help

I truly understand your frustration with your new Keurig. We have had to replace 4 in the past 3 yrs. We bought it from QVC when it was first out, it is the platinum series , the original one. It always just either stopped brewing, or brewing full cups or not working at all within months ! Phoned Keurig CS got a brand new one in the mail and started all over again ! We love it when it works, but it seems to never last very long. We thought of purchasing the Vue model at Bed bath and beyond, but read her on the boards that it is almost impossible to find the coffee pods anywhere. Dont know what to tell you, dont know why the company cannot come out with a brewer that works for years !

Good luck to you, maybe purchasing another company brewer is the answer.

I've had an Elite for three years and never had a problem. I only use water from my Brita pitcher and make three or four cups a day. Have not needed to descale yet. Recently got a V500 because the price was great and I liked the thoughts of a hotter stronger brew. I don't remember soaking a filter, just running clear test brews. I remember the first minis had problems with the pumps. Friends with problems stated customer service was excellent to deal with. I would give them a call.
