Keurig Has Outstanding Customer Service

Keurig is a company that has outstanding customer service that goes far and beyond what the law requires for such a product as their brewers that come with a limited warranty.

Under the FTC law, a products warranty is from the date of the original purchase NOT a new warranty for each product. If you want a longer warranty than I would suggest something like on from Squaretrade.com .

Under the law a company is not required to pay for the shipping from the customer to the repair facility and of course many do not. Keurig just requires a small piece be sent back and in return they send you NOT a repaired or refurbished as many computer, gps, and other electrical product companies do, but a new machine.

Imagine getting a car with a 50,000 mile warranty and it broke down at 30,000 miles. They would repair it under warranty BUT they would not give you a repaired car with a new 50,000 mile warranty, nor would an automobile dealer ever allow full original retail cost as a trade in for a newer model. Additionally, when you get your car repaired under warranty, you can pretty much guarantee that the car does not come with a full tank or two of gasoline and yet many people spend far more in gasoline costs over the years than what they paid for the car itself.

Cuisinart which is a appliance company that has been around since the early 1970's has a 3 year limited warranty on most of their products, yet if it broke, you would be required to send the appliance back to them at your cost and then they would either repair or replace it.

This being said the customer service of Keurig is outstanding and they go far beyond what is required of them, but to expect to get extra products for your "trouble" is certainly no where in the FTC requirements under the law.
