It's as simple as this really.  Double the edge of the tape at the end so it's darker.

Then the menu will show up like this and you can choose your size, and use it for water in whatever size you want as well.

When I'm at Bed Bath and Beyond staring at the giant wall of K cups, what do I need to look for so I can identify the cups that will work in my 2.0?

In my picture with the tape on the kcup see the ring around the edge?  It says keurig Brewed and has a cup on it.  Looks like a real light lavender.  That's all there is to it.
