So often, I think about how much I appreciate the large double sink (without a divider) in my kitchen.

So convenient and holds 2 large pots or bowls at the same time.

Do you have a special something, gadget, appliance etc. in your kitchen that you are so very glad you have?

Instantpot....so useful and easy.  I find I use it almost daily and the ability to set it up and leave it to cook is such a benefit.  Sweet potatoes, grains, veggies, soups, chili...just choose the 15 minute automatic and instant meals!

I know this probably sounds silly but I bought an instant pot for the sole purpose of making hard cooked eggs. I don't make anything else in it, but I use it weekly and am delighted with the reliable consistent results and super easy to peel eggs.

My other favorite is my indoor Ninja XL grill.  It also is used often. It has multiple features, but the main two I use are the grill and air fryer. We had the original but upgraded to the larger one for more surface area. The old one was fine so we passed it along to someone who would use it.  We haven't fired up our big Weber outdoor gas grill in several years.

Lastly would be my Kitchen HQ Grater w/Suction Base (HSN and currently on a Black Friday deal).  I prefer shredding my own cheese because it avoids the additives and it melts better.  The grater makes short work of that job without needing to pull out the big, electric food processor.  It works great for other shredding jobs too, like zucchini and cauliflower rice.

I, too, have a large double sink...but mine is divided. The two sinks are equal in size. So many of my friends homes, the sinks are shallow & small, with one side larger,  but mine is deep and wide. It makes hand washing large pots, etc. so much easier--and there's less splashing of water everywhere!

I have 2 very helpful opener helpers-one opens any bottle cap, the other helps to open any jar.

And I always appreciate my Mr. Coffee coffee makerSmiley Happy

I appreciate my abundance of counter space, my two large sinks, and my double oven range.

@Flatbush

I'm sure I'll understand once you explain but I'm confused about your sink. It's a double sink without a divider, that's not a large single sink then?

I've heard the large sink called a farmer's sink.

I never got the divider thing. I guess if one side is used with a garbage disposal to scrape off food and the other side for rinsing or something?

My daughter has a divider and it seems it was installed wrong. There is a tiny sink on the right side with a garbage disposal and the left side is large with just a drain. You'd think that large side would have the garbage disposal? You can barely scape off or put any dirty dishes in the small size. It doesn't make sense.

I say keep the large sink and let people decide how they use it!
