I've noticed over the past few weeks lots of clearance on original FL & OW patterns.  

The new pieces I've seen presented have a "basketweave" motif & the edges are "ruffled". 

I have been gifting the FL pattern in Black to my niece for serving pieces.  I'm just curious if this is being "discontinued".

Tonight, I ordered her the 2 serving platters on clearance.

Just curious do you think FL is going to be discontinued?  Thank you

Gee I don't know if it's being discontinued or not @homedecor1.  I have a dinnerware set in FL cranberry that I really like.  Personally, I don't care for the basketweave design.

I highly doubt that the standard and traditional FL is going to be discontinued. It is just way too popular. 

There have been a lot of new things come out recently, and most of them have been in the traditional FL. 

The basket weave is just a spin on the originals of OW and FL. 

She has a lot more mileage in FL, I truly don't anticipate it going anywhere soon.

I hope not. FL is my favorite (in the dark blue) . I do wish it did not have brown on it. I loved the polka dot , but never see that anymore. I am not a fan personally of the basket weave.

I'm sure after all these years lots of us have more than we need.  I like when Tara offers smaller or single pieces.

Time will tell, plus I see lots of vendors on Q offering their versions.

@Mominohio  I totally agree.  It is still a big seller.

@okaywitheasypay  Unfortunately the polka dot didn't last long.  I'm surprised as it seemed so popular.  I bought some of the polka dot in purple (lavender?)  Thought it would be available in more items and for a longer period of time.
