Re: Just curious....How many

I do. I started with qvc over 20 years ago, I barely watch now, just look on the website.

Yes, I remember that the Q had several "games" that they'd break to several times a day. It was fun. I also remember looking forward to the Birthday credit, I'd use it every year. Now I'm "treated" to 5 or 6 Easypays for a birthday treat. Never use it.

I remember that! And I remember when you were chosen to be on air you were given $10 credit and when they had games to play. It was fun back in the day to sit and watch.

Now-a-days I only watch occasionally. The internet has made it so much easier to NOT have to sit and watch.

QVC used to be fun. I was not home a lot back then because of work, but it seems you had to call in fairly fast when the numbers came up. Someone mentioned Steve Bryant on these boards just recently and when he and some other hosts were on the Q, it seemed everything was fun back then.

I don't remember it, but I've seen it in old clips from time to time.

I think I watched HSN in the old days when I had babies and was stuck at home a lot. I remember some kind of wheel that they'd spin. I also remember a man salesman who would be there for clearance shows - bringing the price lower and lower and lower. If I remember correctly, you got the lowest price no matter when you placed your order. That's when clearance actually meant bargains. I remember lots and lots of sold out items.

I think it was HSN, but I don't remember for sure. You could only order the item while they were presenting it on air. I think QVC was different because you could order the item whether it was on air or not.
