Wegmans sells the mini Juniors in plain or Raspberry for $10 last I checked. The REAL bargain is if you have a Costco. They sell the full size speciality Juniors cheesecakes for $16!!!! Usually a different seasonal favorite that's the exact same as on their online site for $60-80. You just have to time it right that a. they're in stock & b. you're at the store those days it is in stock!

Used to love Junior's Cheesecakes.  Now I can't even afford 1/2 of what they are asking.  Yes, they are good but now $80!  I know everything has goine up, but geez.

I'll go ahead and make Philly Cream Cheese dessert in a muffin tin instead of spending $80 on cheesecake.

I still think like gas stations, companies are taking advantage of the econony and hiking up prices unnecessarily.

I always thought they were overpriced. We can get their smaller frozen cheesecakes, nicely decorated for holidays, at grocery stores. And comparatively (ounce for ounce), they're cheaper, too.

The pain they have cost us, the evils that never happened.

Thanks everyone for your great responses and suggestions.  I've been away from posting due to some personal life issues and forgot I had initiated the post.

I love all your ideas and thoughts about cheesecake.  I'll go check the recipe forum to see some recipes now too.

My Mom used to make her own cheesecakes once in awhile, but I can't find the recipe she used.   I once bought a slice at my local Safeway and they have a very nice bakery, but the cheesecake was awful.   The ones Jello makes in a box are better.

I appreciate all your posts.

ShopRite sells Juniors cheesecake slices too!

I've tried both the chocolate and the strawberry flavors.  Honestly, the best I've ever tasted.  Pricey, but it's a good-sized slice and I try to make it last!

This is what we eat at Christmas. $20 at Publix. Delicious.  They also have a chocolate swirl one.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

They sell these at Walmart too.  They are delicious.  Seasonal varieties and a whole lot cheaper than Juniors.
