I do make my own, but since I live alone I often used the jarred sauce, since it's fast and easy and cooking for yourself is no fun. I'm boycotting Ragu since they started that nasty commercial (a kid walking in on his parents while they're having secks - like what does that have to do with spaghetti sauce?
). I can't stand Prego, do like Newman's, and found some Francesco Rinaldi, which I used to get in NY, on Amazon.
Today while in Walmart I saw that both Emeril and Wolfgang Puck now are selling jarred sauce, and the price was reasonable for each (under $3); has anyone tried any of them? Are they any good?
They had another brand - can't think of the name offhand - but it was almost $8 a jar.
I can make an entire large pot of sauce for that amount!
