I wish that David would have Vivian Howard on his show . She is a chef from North Carolina, whose cookbook " Deep Run Roots " is award winning. She is a gifted story teller, so even if you didn't make a thing out of the book, it is worth reading.

Sounds like a good idea.  She'd probably have lots to say.  Why don't you suggest her to him on Facebook?   He'll never see it here.

I totally agree!  I love Vivian Howard and her book is wonderful.  I am originally from Eastern NC so I might be a bite partial, but I still think that would be a win-win for ITKWD, Vivian Howard, and us, the consumer.

Great suggestion!

Thanks for the suggestion, I don't do much with Facebook so I never think of it. I did leave a message there.

oooooooooohhhhhhhh please put it in "suggestion box" for David and maybe he will do that.  I'd watch more if they had more suggestions for books dealing with food, since it is "KITCHEN" and more known and unknown chefs. Not the ones on t.v. that we have known for years, but some new ones.

I watch Vivian's show, "A Chef's Life" on PBS whenever I get the chance.  I binge watched several episodes yesterday from show's I DVR'd previously.
