I'm sorry to say, but it looks like a great big Vitamix induced snooze today.

I'm surprised that with Easter two weeks away, they aren't offering any tableware - table linens would be awesome.

I guess I just have everything I need in the kitchen and can't expect anything to WOW me.  I never thought that could happen, but it did.

Here's the link to shop the show.

yeah, be glad when the Vitamix goes the way of high button shoes and hoop skirts.

Personally, I'd buy Wolfgang's mixer for 200 or less if I needed a fancy blender.  I got a ninja and satisfied with that from walmart. LOL

@SharkE

I agree with you.  I have a food processor and an immersion blender and have never felt the need for a Vitamix.

@SharkE  Ok, here's a different take on it.  I bought a VitaMix 5200 reconditioned from Vitamix about 6 or 7 years ago. It is am amazing machine.  Ice really can be pulverized to NO lumps or chunks whatsoever.  It really will make soup, and you can chop things in it.

We use ours all the time.  I make smoothies and we use up veggies (and get the health benefits from them) that we would never use otherwise.  We make nut butters, we make a malt occasionally, we rarely ever throw away a fruit or veggie.  When someone is sick, it is a real help. I make frozen lattes in the summer, and we make salad dressings withit.

I watch the shows because I often see something I hadn't thought of to make.

So for US, we have more than gotten our money's worth from our VitaMix, and we'd had a half dozen blenders in our long lives before that--so for US, it has been a really good investment.  But that's just US!  LOL!!!

BUT I did resist buying ANOTHER little WP rice maker in a color I like better than the green one I have.  Do I get a reward for that???  LOL!!

I've never bought a Vitamix (don't even have a $20 blender!) but still every time they're on, I'm fascinated.

Guaranteed I would have given in and bought one but it wouldn't fit under my cabinets.  Saved!

You'd think every QVC home that wanted Vitamix already has one, but last night in the first twelve minutes, they sold about a half million dollars worth!    Amazing for sure.

I thought I'd seen those rice cookers from WP at a cheaper price

seems like I paid 20 for mine and no shp

yesterday they had shp plus it was 25.   I make mac & cheese for us.

Just 2 of us.

Yep, if you want a 400-500 Vitamix , then, please , go for it. All the stuff I buy I'm not begruding anybody anything. LOL

I forgot to put my KA food processor in my pics, now, I got Wolf's deep fryer in red coming.

Yikes ! hope hubbo doesn't see or hear the UPS man.

Re: ITKWD - Sunday 4/2

[ Edited ]

My two year old grandaughter has two rare diseases, infantile osteopetrosis and Williams syndrome. She has a feeding tube, which requires only very smooth substances be fed into the tube. Her nutritional team allows only certain baby foods to be mixed with her special formula that goes into the feeding tube. They also said she will be able to graduate to home blended foods. BUT, the ONLY machine my daughter in law is allowed to use to blend her food for the tube is the Vitamix. They said it's the only one that blends well enough to not clog the tube.

@PA Mom-mom prayers to your dear granddaughter.

This is a great machine....clearly.  I wish I had one when my son was a baby.  I bought one a year ago for my son who is a high school athlete....what a difference it makes in adding a ton of veg and fruit and nutrients into his diet....smoothies....done!
