Re: ITKWD -- Introducing a New Approach to the Show Tonight -- 3/3

"And why they ever dumped Stacey is totally beyond me.  Most of their host terminations are beyond me."

It's all a matter of data folks. QVC knows at any given minute of any program how many people are watching and more importantly buying. Apparently the time Stacey was on camera the numbers were not good. if that's the case you're gone.

Re: ITKWD -- Introducing a New Approach to the Show Tonight -- 3/3

"as @novamc  stated it is a shopping channel not a cooking show. If I am thinking of purchasing an item I listen closely and would prefer they dealt more with the steps to operating and caring for the item than what the colors are and how many they had sold."

Why go over colors? Because the decision to buy might not occur immediately, but when a potential customer decides to purchase an item, she may not remember the colors, so a repeat makes sense. Why do they tell us how many they've sold of an item?  This is easy. If it seems an item might sell out or a color is getting low, it pressures potential buyers who think, "I better hurry and place my order or i might miss out on this item."

Of course it's not a real window. TV requires controlling the light. that wouldn't be possible with a real window.

hoping that changes have been made for the Sunday show. Would like to see the apron come back and the original music.

@Reever - The "reimagined" changes are only for the Wednesday shows; today's show should be the same ol' ITKWD format.

Many were livid when Stacey was let go. It was a cold and harsh decision..I would have liked to see David fight for Stacey to remain on. I felt horrible for her as she has a family.  The way Stacey was treated was disrespectful in my opinion.

@Reever

Fyi: Stacey has a wonderful cooking show -- she actually cooks.  Now she is back into broadcasting again, although, she hadn't disclosed the details.

@homedecor1 . Stacey is not yet back to broadcast hosting.  She hosted a private affair, and she said she cannot give out any details about it unfortunately.  She said it was a one-time event.  She was happy to be back doing a hosting gig, but it was only that one time, until something else comes up.

It seems like the Apron is back however that music they keep playing remains. I sense they are trying to be hip to appeal to a younger demographic.
