I interpret his non-smiling expressions as thoughtful litening and learning, not boredom.

I'm sure his age and time on the job doing the same old stuff week after week is getting old. I know once I hit around 50 I was so done with corporate America. I was so happy when I got laid off at 58 and never went back to work. I'm sure he's counting the days until he can retire and he's probably worried about his future should QVC go bankrupt. To young to retire but to old to get another job.

I agree, I watch DV often and never see this. And so predictable yet another "David looks bored" thread. smh

Let me start by saying that I love David. I have noticed recently that he seems bored. Today when he was demoing the ice maker he had his elbow on one of the machines. He had almost like a frown on his face. When they panned to Melissa he forced a smile. Do you think that he's getting tired of his job? I can understand if he is.
I just went and pulled up the video. I suggest you do the same. He was very engaged. Very. I watched it twice actually.
He rested his elbow. So. What. It probably made his injured back feel better.
David has repeated ( probably because of posts like yours) that he has NO plans to retire anytime soon. Of course if QVC did personnel changes like they did last year and it affects him, that would not be of his decision.
How you came to such conclusions is weird to me..

Agree 100% ! I too found this post weird. Because of how he placed his elbow shows boredom? Good grief.

I thought David was bored out of his mind about 5 years ago and quit watching his repetitive shows with same merchandise and equally boring same vendors.

One of my fave vendors was MarkCharles and I miss him.

I don't watch too often anymore, since I'm not a fan of the comedy shtick of many. But I still find David very watchable. He never seems bored to me.
