Is anyone willing to share an Italian sauce recipe that can be made in an Instant Pot. I do make stove top sauce, so I need to know about when to add meatballs and other meats. Should they be par cooked and how long should the sauce be cooked. Thank you.

My days of making sauce from scratch ended the day Ina Garten introduced me to Rao’s Marinara Sauce! Absolutely, DELICIOUS!!! 2-3 times the price of other jarred sauces and worth every penny!!! Available at nearly all grocery stores and in several different flavors. Full disclosure...Rao’s is a famous restaurant in N.Y. The demand for their marinara sauce is what prompted them to bottle and sell it. If you love authentic Italian PLEASE give this a try. It is truly authentic and wonderful. 😊

Being from the east coast, I've heard of Rao's, but never tried it. A jarred sauce I find delicious is Victoria. The marinara is very home-made tasting. Not as expensive as Rao's, but close.

@Ifeelwicked. I stopped making my own sauce after trying Rao’s. I find it delicious. It only has a few ingredients, the ones you would use yourself. I try and buy more than one when they are on sale.

I have to agree. I make my own sauce and I don't consume oil. However, there is always a bottle of Rao's in the cupboard, and I normally don't buy prepared processed food.. Recently, Whole Foods had an amazing sale on Rao's for Amazon prime members, I stocked up. I don't know why this sauce is far superior than any other...the ingredients are the same but the results are not. I buy the marinara usually, sometimes the roasted garlic or red pepper. One poster mentioned Victoria and I just want to share that sauce can be purchased at Costco.

Do you use Google? There are many pasta sauce recipes on the Instant Pot Users Forum. Also check out recipies on You Tube Instant Pot.
There are hundreds of Instant Pot/slow cooker pasta sauce recipies. So many that I donated most of my cookbooks to Goodwill.
Good luck.

FWIW, I try to avoid buying processed food products. They usually contain too much sodium and sugar. And other mystery additives and preservatives I can’t pronounce.
Good luck finding a good pasta sauce recipie.
