I just checked a review I wrote a couple weeks ago. I gave the item one star and stated why. That review never got posted! Today, wrote another review. I did not like it and stated why. Hopefully, it'll get posted in a few days. I thought you were supposed to give your honest opinion, and why, when posting a review. I find both positive and negative reviews helpful when wondering if I should make a specific purchase. Now, I've written a couple favorable reviews in that past and those were posted. So, anyone else have this happen to them? I'm offended 'cause if I take the time to write a review it should be posted.

Did you purchase the item?

Yes. I ONLY write reviews (and not very often either - unless really, really good or bad, in my opinion). And, I can't imagine anyone writing a review on something they haven't tried! Why would you even question that!?!

Because a lot of people here do that. One Bare Minerals foundation had dozens of reviews and it wasn't even on the market yet. People were pre-ordering it and wouldn't get it for over a month, but were reviewing it to say they hated it or loved it, sight unseen, much less used.

It happens all over many sites that have reviews. Amazon is notorious for it. One video game had 20 reviews on it 6 months before it was released and it hadn't even been previewed by professional reviewers.

I've reviewed on Amazon, but they've emailed me to do so or ans a ques for someone. And, lately, I've noticed that Amazon notes above the review that the review actually has the product. Perhaps QVC should verify same - I know they ask if you've have/had the product and could certainly verify same 'cause it's all in their computer system. As far asthe BM foundation, I think that's awful - it ruins the review process for all of us. I really like to check the reviews, especially when it's food and skincare. But, anyways, I did not see my review - it was not favorable to the product, but there were other posts not liking it either. Guess I have to wait and see if the one I just did gets posted or not.

I don't review items much, either, but they should have posted your honest critique.

It may just be an error. Or it may be something specific about your review. There sure are lots and lots and lots of negative reviews that get posted every day.

I'm currently enthralled with the Captain Obvious commercials, especially the one about the seamy hotel where the kid finds a finger. His hotels publish honest reviews by "people who have stayed there, not people who lie on the internet."

Where did you write/originate your review? I recently noticed that a few reviews I wrote by clicking on the "Write a Review" button under individual items in the Order Status section of my account didn't show up under the reviews in the section below the general product description. I thought this would have been a pretty quick way to find items I wanted to review, but my reviews didn't get posted to the basic product description. They do, however, show up under the summary of my reviews (without the product's picture). Weird!

That's probably why there are so many dissatified customers and returns.
