Usually I just wait until I feel like I'm getting hungry. Recently, I started boxing lessons and find myself hungry most of the time, but as I've adapted to the output, my body is changing it's hunger patterns. I've recently decided to have something before I begin to even feel hungry at all. I make up my protein shakes and have them mid-way between meals - regardless and over the past two weeks have dropped four pounds. I realize this is because of an uptick in cardio (new moves, etc) and not boring treadmill, but I feel I'm eating more because I'm eating more often. So I'm fearful of extra calories....but it keeps me from overeating. Maybe all those who say eat six small meals are right! Others say you really only need three full meals....obviously it depends on the person - at least I'm finding that it works for me! YAY! Here's to never being overly hungry!!
