I have the large Zo, & it's one of those EXCELLENT items that I wouldn't want to be without. I've had mine 5 or 6 years, & continue to love it- enjoy!

I already have the Bread Machine Magic in my post #7 above. I just ordered the other 2 on EBay on my post #11 so hope they are as good as the 1st one. Poppinfresh recommended More Bread Machine Magic so I thought I would try it. The EBay seller emailed & said they refunded my money because they could not fulfill my order so I had to order from another seller. I should get them by next weekend. Media Mail shipping is a little slow. Hope they are all different recipes in them from the one I already have. Can't wait to get them. Hope you like them.

I love my mini Zo. I enjoy going to book sales and have picked up several bread machine cookbooks. One I have used quite a bit is called The Bread Machine Cookbook V by Donna Rathmell German. This book has recipes by 100 different authors. Each recipe has the nutritional count as well as variations for 1 lb,11/2 lb and 13/4lb loaves. It was published in 1994.

The Bread Machine Magic will be on my Kindle iPad on the 30th. Thx for posting that! ............. I made my first loaf from the manual that came with it. It was very good, chewy, crisp and tender crust. Just not as firm a texture. So tomorrow or Sunday I will do Mrs. Meyers recipe and see how that fairs, we all like something different.. But the bread tastes delish and I know what ingredients are in it.

Got it bookmarked, thank you.. Doing Mrs. Meyers this morning, but I did cut back on the 3T sugar to 2.5 and if I like it, will cut back even further.. This bread really made my Mom soooo happy! She's 87 and quite frail, so if I can give her some happiness, that makes it worth it.

I need to knead. LOL I had a bread maker for years and never used it. I finally gave to my SIL to sell at her yearly cancer yard sale.

My friend has one and uses it almost every day. I think she just uses the recipe in the book.

I've used a few of the recipes in the book that came with my large Zo. To the original white bread recipe, I add 1 egg, remove 2 T water from rec. amount, & use 2 T organic whole milk in place of the dry milk. Depending on the size eggs I use, sometimes I need to use less yeast.

You just need to play around to find what pleases you.
