I do this about once a year because I am in love with Fortnum and Mason tea and their wonderful tea tins.

My surprise is I ordered it on the 18th of January, and last night, on the 21st of January, there was a knock at the door and DHL was here with the tea.

That was a big shock!  It was slated to arrive on the 28th, so I sort of thought well, maybe sometime in February. . . The two teas I have had already are wonderful!

[ Edited ]

@Sooner  I love Fortnum and Mason tea!  I actually ordered a sampler box on Amazon as a Christmas gift for my DIL and I ordered a box of the breakfast blend for myself.  I was looking for tea related gifts on Amazon for my DIL and stumbled on the teas.

The first time I had the tea was several years ago when a coworker brought some back from her trip to England and gave me a few bags.  The tea is sooooo smooth!  Enjoy!

P.S.,

This is the box I ordered for DIL.  I wonder what the smokey earl grey tastes like.

@LdyBugz I have tried most of those and like them a lot.  This time I got a tin of Earl Gray and that is very good!  I have tried most but the smoky one (don't like those) and found them good!

I got loose tins of: Yunnan (beautiful red color!), Russian Caravan, and Prince of Wales Blend Organic and Earl Gray Organic.  I got sachets of Afternoon Blend (which I like a lot) and a couple other small boxes of regular bags.

It was like Christmas!  Woman LOL  This is my order I do about once a year and it's funny it just hits me IT'S TIME! LOL!!!  So I order!

I order from Fortnum and Mason all the time.  @LdyBugz  I have the same set you ordered and also a larger version that I received as a gift.  My favroite is the Queen Anne tea.  @Sooner  I usually have the same experience with orders arriving from London almost immediately.  I recently ordered something from Harrods and it was here in 2 days.  I don't know how they do it!

@Sooner That's amazing how quickly you received your order.  If I order again, I'll order directly from the company and try some of the blends you mentioned.  It's so great that you treat yourself to these teas.  Sometimes just the simple, little things we do for ourselves like this can add a lot to our well-being.  Enjoy your teas!

@LdyBugz I agree!  It is a nice treat for long winter days and something we can look forward to trying.

Re: I Ordered Tea From England

Thanks for mentioning Fortnum and Mason. My husband is a big tea drinker. And I often buy different teas for him.

When we went to England we bought tins of Whittard of Chelsea tea. They had such a nice shop. Bought two nice tea pots too.

I will give Fortnum and Mason a try.

It's funny, but I ordered some pearls from Catherine Cardillini (Australia) several months ago.  She hadn't been shipping to the states and it was kind of a trial run. I received them in 3 weeks.

Re: I Ordered Tea From England

English tea must be better than Lipton for the popularity here and there.

Once worked an Indian guy who claimed Red Rose was the best tea.

I went back to coffee.................
