I Need Some Recommendations or Advice on Induction Cookware

I have never cooked on an induction stove top before, but now that we have one I need some type of cookware that will meet its requirements. Does any one that has experience with these types of cooktops have a suggestion on a set that I might purchase? Preferably would like to get one from the Q. Thanks!

Re: I Need Some Recommendations or Advice on Induction Cookware

My sister replaced her old stove last year with an induction one. She loves, loves, loves the stove but had to buy new cookware ( sorry I don't know which brand). I was the recipient of several of her old pots which wouldn't work for her anymore. Her stove came with several cookware pieces and she said that she will buy more as she can.

Any stainless steel cookware will work.

Anything that says 'cast aluminum' won't work.

They're starting to advertise now if cookware is induction ready.

Bring a little magnet with you if you're shopping at the store...if it sticks to the bottom, you're good.

I love my induction burner. It's fast, and it keeps an even heat...no guessing.
