I Need Costco Recommendations & Advice

I'm getting ready to join Costco and I've never been a member before so I'd like some recommendations for products you buy there on a regular basis. Also, are their meats and produce as fresh as Sam's? I like to buy produce and the bagged salads, etc. and have it for a week or so. What items are great buys there?
