@susan in California wrote:My favorite is PG Tips, a black tea from the UK.
I accidentally found it about fifteen years ago, and I drink a huge
mug of it every afternoon with half and half and stevia (or sugar).
It is incredibly flavorful.
I like many English Black teas, but I have found the flavor
most delicious from this particular tea.
It can be purchased in many good supermarkets or for sure
at CostPlus World Market.
World Market has a great variety although they got rid of some from England and Wales recently that they had carried for years. I like the gold blends, they all seem smoother and not as bitter as the other versions. Whole Foods and Sprouts seem to be expanding their tea options as well. There is a U.K. tea called Lancashire that is good if you can find it also.

KaySD, it's called "Dirty Chai" and it's put out by a company called "Celestial Teahouse", which I just learned is a division of Celestial Seasonings. The ingredients are Assam black tea, chai spices (which include cardomom, black pepper, cloves, etc.) and espresso.
I found it in our local grocery store, which doesn't always have a great selection, so I'm guessing it's readily available everywhere. For that matter, I don't have to go far to get my PG Tips either-- it's not at that store, but is available at our standard Tops Supermarket...
Oh, I forgot to mention another type of tea I like but rarely get-- it's "Lapsang Souchong". It is a VERY smoky tea, so much so that we started to wonder if it had any harmful additives like tar or something, ha. Do any of you tea aficionados know for sure? It is SO distinctive and interesting with that smoky overlay. Confirmed coffee drinkers might possibly like it b/c of its rich body, I'm thinking....

Oh, I just realized I goofed. Don't want to send anyone to the wrong store! It's Walmart where I've been able to pick up PG Tips, NOT Tops.

@KaySD wrote:@Nightowlz, Some people who don't like tea or coffee but want a hot beverage drink hot water by itself, or with a slice of lemon. Just for the warmth and comfort!
@KaySD That's the only thing I could think to do. I bought a dozen lemons at the store yesterday. It's going to get cold again Mon night so I will try it next week. I already add it to cold water every once in a while.

I've been missing my tea these last few days! I seem to have burned my throat on some hot food, or something, several days ago.
I wish it would heal up already. hurts and cannot imagine eating/drinking something hot.

I drink two big mugs of black tea with a teaspoon of raw honey nearly every day, year round. One when I get up and one at tea time (4-ish). Never could tolerate the taste of coffee.

Currently loving Union Jack English Breakfast tea a friend brought back from London.

I make a pot of Lipton's loose leaf black tea every morning. What I don't drink hot (sometimes I share with my DH) I pour over ice and enjoy during the day. Often I repeat this several times during the day, and then make another pot of hot tea before bed. (Obviously nothing prevents me from sleeping!) I don't care for flavored teas, but occasionally I enjoy a cup of Constant Comment with sugar. And then there's the (homemade) spiced tea (made with Tang/lemon drink mix and SUGAR) that is so soothing to a sore throat. . .
