Re: *** Howard Johnson’s ~ Children’s Menu 1960’s ***

Loved the HoJos ice cream!   The chocolate chip was sooo good.   Mom loved the all you can eat Fish Fry.

I remember they had 28 flavors of ice cream which was unusual in those days.  There was a song about the 28 flavors that I used to sing, but I forgot how it went.

They had my two favorite ice cream flavors...Banana and Butter Crunch.❤️

We had a Howard Johnson in the next town growing up. My parents liked their specials...

Growing up, we used to go every Friday for dinner. Dad loved the 'all you can eat' fish fry. After our meal he bought my sister and I one of the HJ candy bars. I used to like the ones that were like the Mounds with coconut.

Ahhh...the good ole' days.

We had one a few miles from home.  We may have gotten clams once or went there for ice cream.  We didn't eat out a lot in the 60's.

My favorite HOJO's memory was my sister and I went to Disney World around 1978-79.  We stayed at a HoJo's at Lake Buena Vista.  A Disney bus picked up four hotels in the area.  We loved it!  It was our first trip alone!  Found this internet picture.
