Since retiring, DH and I eat lunch out 5-6 times a week.
We usually bring leftover or eat something here ( MC chicken pot pie, Stouffers lasagna), homemade hamburger stew, homemade chicken noodles, homemade spaghetti or steamed veggies.
We split most meals because servings are large.

We eat out together maybe twice a year. I occasionally/rarely treat myselt to lunch. I will grab a sandwich to go maybe once a month.
Hubby likes my cooking best. I'm a simple cook and do "real food" without a lot added stuff.

We eat out a lot. I love to cook but not in the summer....just can't get inspired.

Everyday. Sometimes I order in (delivery) if that counts.
Above includes breakfast which I love eating at diners that serve all day & night breakfast.

Eating out is one of our favorite things to do. Mostly for dinner and at local restaurants in the county. We do it quite often.

We eat out once or twice a month...at most. Money's not the issue--I like to cook and have the time. We say time and time again that the recipes I prepare at home are equal to or better than what we can eat at a restaurant. I can control what is in the recipe, and eating at home is much less expensive. No worries about food poisoning or restaurant cleanliness. I fully believe that eating at home is why I, at 55, only weigh 10 pounds more than I did as a senior in high school. We live in a city near many good restaurants, so when we do decide to eat out, we eat wherever we want no matter the cost.

On average once a week, either on Friday night or Saturday night. We both work full time, so treat ourselves on the weekend.

We've never had a date night. It started many years after we were married. We do spur of the moment things, it helps, cause it's as time permits. Never thought twice about that.

Figuring there are 21 meals in a week, I probably eat out around 14 times a week.......nothing set in stone but just as likely that I would go out for breakfast as I would for dinner.
