We eat inside restaurants about 2 times a month. We get carry out or pick up fast food about 2 times a month too, so about 4 times a month total.

A lot of times, I bring home leftovers from my meal, and my husband eats that for lunch the next day. We have a few favorite places we tend to revisit each month. Sometimes I get an extra meal out for lunch with a friend.

Yes, eating out, like everything else, is more expensive.

Restaurant prices are ridiculous now and the "quality" of the food is sketchy, so we rarely eat out.

On special occasions (when I refuse to cook) like my birthday and our anniversary, we will do a curbside pickup and bring it home to enjoy.

However, I can cook much "cleaner," quicker, and economically at home, and though I get tired of cooking every day, my wallet is much fatter as a result.

Since I'm alone now I eat most suppers out. I disagree that the quality of food is sketchy - it's very good at the restaurants I go to. If it isn't, I never go back to that restaurant. I did have an interesting thing happen last week. I went to an Indian restaurant during the week for their buffet and on Sunday as well. The price of the Sunday buffet was $2 more than it is during the week, but the food choices were identical. Why charge $2 more? Because they can. They've lost me as a customer.

I never eat out these days and have not done so for about 12 years. I am alone and on a fixed income, so I eat mostly food that I prepare at home. I do sometimes get a pint of a home made soup at a nearby market, so everything is good.  I eat well.  And sometimes I pick up bagels or yogurt at the grocery store for a quick meal, so I am not slaving over a hot stove.

Maybe once a month now. I used to eat out once or twice a week.  I don't mind cooking and going out go eat mostly seems like a hassle.

Not often.  Maybe 3 to 4 times a year for a sit down meal. The very rare slice of pizza from the local shop.  The shop sells slices large enough for 2 meals for under 6 dollars so not a bad deal in my opinion.

I Like Buffets  where you can choose from many different things for the price. not just one specific thing.

I Never drink alcohol at a restaurant. The markup is sky high.

We we were first married back 30 ago it was at least 3 times as week. Since the pandemic and my health issues its more delivery.

I average about four times per week but most of the time, it's drive-thru or pick up and the occasional eating out at a restaurant with family/friends.
