Re: How do you store your ground coffee?

Thanks for the replies.  Love coffee!  Just got back from a short vacation and couldn't wait to get home for a cup of "my" coffee.  Coffee at other places just doesn't taste the same.

Re: How do you store your ground coffee?

I keep my ground coffee in a lock & lock container & store it in the kitchen cabinet .... it has worked for me. 😄

Re: How do you store your ground coffee?

I  keep it in a glass jar with a screw-type lid.  It's in the pantry, which is dark.

I buy Starbuck's one pound bags, which last me about two weeks.  It's always fresh, I hope.

I vacuum it in canning jars and keep in the cupboard or down in the storage room.   I've never put it in the freezer.

I buy fairly expensive packaged ground coffee. Once we open a package, we have always put it in L&L (we have several that are the perfect size) and store it in the freezer. I have never seen any evidence of degradation.

Before I got my Keurigs, I stored ground coffee in a glass cansiter with a toggle lid. I kept that next to the coffee maker.

Re: How do you store your ground coffee?

I always store coffee in a large Lock & Lock container or Tupperware.  Those are the only containers I trust to keep food fresh.
