How To Keep Ripe Avocados ?

I bought more avocados then I needed and bought them under ripe hoping they would keep at least a few days now I see they are very ripe . Want to keep them and dont want them to ripe anymore or they will be brown inside. Any suggestions on how I can keep them till they can be eaten and not ripe any further if indeed there is a way cause I have never heard anyone address this before ? Thanks !
